SRU Youth Coach of the Year John Couper is departing Old Anniesland to take up a fresh challenge with Kilmarnock at senior level next season
This means that Hawks will have a new Under 18 Coaching team in place for the coming season
We are delighted to welcome Mark Mooney who joins us from Allan Glens as Head Coach
He will be assisted by Jono Willis who was part of the successful coaching team of 2012-13 and Glasgow Warriors' Peter Murchie
Peter is presently with the Scottish Squad preparing for the summer tour of South Africa
With Hawks winning promotion it means that once more the City of Glasgow is represented in the Premiership and this should help boost the profile of rugby in city building on what Warriors achieved last season
Peter's involvement at Hawks can only help with this process
