Heather's challenge

Good luck to Hawks physio Heather Morton tackles the Three Peaks today starting at 5.00pm for Cancer Charity

Hawks Physio Heather Morton and 3 friends are doing the 3 peaks challenge On August 17th we will attempt to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge, to raise money for Unite Against Cancer.
So, the challenge is to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours:

5pm - 10pm Ben Nevis
10pm - 4am Drive to Cumbria
4am - 8am Climb Scafell
8am - 1pm Drive to Wales
1pm - 5pm Climb Snowdon

The event becomes even more challenging if the weather is bad and slows us down, or if we get stuck in traffic! So, our training will be geared round having the stamina to possibly run up Snowdon after hardly any sleep or decent food.

We are hoping to raise over £2000 for Unite Against Cancer who are funding research into new cancer treatments. All donations big or small would be hugely appreciated!
