Warriors in club action

Glasgow Warriors backrow Josh Strauss will represent Aberdeen Grammar in their game against Gala at Netherdale tomorrow.

The South African, who has been drafted to the north-east club this season, is expected to make his first appearance since the end of last season.

Hooker Finlay Gillies and prop Jon Welsh will play for Glasgow Hawks, when they take on Melrose at The Greenyards, while hooker Dougie Hall and backrow James Eddie will represent RBS Premiership champions Ayr, who are at home to Currie.

Lock Tom Ryder is also in action and will play for Stirling County, when they take on Heriot’s at Bridgehaugh Park.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Elite Development scrum-half Ali Price has sustained knee ligament damage in training and will be out for several months.
