1st XV v Irvine

Buoyed by numbers at training tonight, the likes of which have not been seen at NA for many a season, Coaches Couper, Boyle and Reid actually had the pleasure of selecting a squad this week from a copious and relatively injury-free cadre (the ubiquitous "Beaver" aside!).

However, let's be in no doubt as to the size of the task in front of us this weekend: our opponents, Irvine, are flying high in RBS West Division 1 so far this season with 4 wins from 4 (the only undefeated side in the league), having scored 171 pts with just 42 pts against. Pretty impressive! So: a Q, boys and girls - are we up to the task?

And by "we", I mean:

F Marchetti, K Malcolm, E MacLaren, C Johnstone, K Seran, M Walker (c), C Dalrymple, K Beattie, B Frame, S Seaton, C Wright, G Bryden, J Watson, A MacCallum, R Cowan, G Paul, R Watts, K Boyle, C Brooker.

The usual drill for a 3p.m k/o at home applies.
