Yes, tonight Accies and New Anniesland played host to the All-Black legend that is Hika Reid who joined Coups for a Tuesday night training session on a strangely dry evening.

Hika – dubbed “Hika the Hooker” by the late, great Bill McLaren for his on-field exploits – came down and shared some of his prodigious coaching skills with us all, and in just a couple of all too short hours, showed just why these days he’s now at the top of the coaching tree back in The Land Of The Long White Cloud. A great night, enjoyed by one and all!

And to mark the occasion (because he hasn’t got enough stash), here’s Captain Beaver in familiar pose presenting Hika with a Club sweater as a small token of our esteem for his attendance this evening – cheers Hika, you’re welcome back anytime!
