The Return of the Mac!

Though his path back to action after enforced injury seemed at times to be lit by 18 year old Accies starlet, Graham Bryden, all at New Anniesland thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the return of Glasgow Hawk's Ally Maclay in the annual Accies v Exiles Boxing Day Bash. Customarily abrasive throughout the match, the big centre showed that even though he's been on the sidelines for a couple of months, he's still pretty sharp and his appetite to pick up the remainder of his season from where it left off back in October remains large.

And even if he finished the match in the unaccustomed No.8 position, Ally emerged unscathed after a full 80 minutes on the park much to the relief of match promoter, Tinker McKnight who commented afterwards: "Aye, the big man did aw' right. His banter in the bar afterwards needs a bit of work though!"
