David scores against Welsh in TRI international

Glasgow Hawks and GHK player David Sewell joined up with boys from Whitecraigs,Lanark,Dalziel,Cumnock and Kilmarnock to take on the Welsh Unite team through Trust rugby international.
TRI brings together boys who have disabilities and gives them the opportunity to play alongside non disabled players. It teaches them the values of rugby and how they can be applied in everyday life.

After loosing to the welsh earlier on in the year the Scots were keen to get the win. After a long bus journey down to south Wales on Thursday night\friday morning the team rested up before their game at night. Lanelli warriors are one of the most experienced unite sides around and so the boys were over the moon when the final whistle went. 'The Clan' as the Scottish side are known had won 19-15.
On the Saturday some of the boys were invited to play in a charity game against Glwad RFC. Davids 'sore' knee held up enough for him to run 50m for a score after some great work from the forward pack.
The Clan have one more game before the TRI nations cup in June where sides from England Wales and Ireland will make the trip to Kilmarnock RFC to play for the cup.
